Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Austin, TX. This role focuses on welcoming visitors, verifying identity, and guiding access with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents, coordinating with emergency teams as needed while maintaining clear incident reporting and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED is required.
• Able to pass an extensive screening process including background and drug screen.
• Texas Security License or ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age or older as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and verify identity as part of access control.
• Manage access control and monitor security points.
• Perform regular patrols to identify risks and report issues.
• Inspect security equipment and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property.

Qualifications For Concierge Security Guard

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• If you are able to pass both background and drug screen
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a Texas Security License or ability to obtain one
• Having a valid drivers license with a clean driving background
• You are at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirement
