Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service, patrol the facility, monitor access points, and document incidents to support a safe, welcoming environment.

Requirements include HS diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in security or related fields, and eligibility for local licensing. CPR/First Aid preferred; vaccination requirements may apply. Salary is $21.00 per hour with flexible day/evening shifts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, greet and direct visitors, and verify credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
