Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify identifications, and control entry/exit for personnel and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and access records; issue and recover credentials.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed to site contacts or leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeter.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure workplace for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and delivery or pickup authorizations, and control entry and exit for employees, contractors, visitors, and commercial vehicles.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and access records; issue and recover credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
