Job Description

The Security Officer II provides security and protection for guests, employees, and the property. Maintains crowd control, prevents theft, and discourages altercations in a high-volume atmosphere. The Security Officer II works professionally while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service. The role sets the standard for venue security through interaction and demonstration.

Essential Functions

• Provide security and protection for guests, employees, and property
• Maintain knowledge of hotel and company executives
• Report complaints, comments, or incidents to management
• Adhere to dress code and arrive on time for shifts
• Obtain approval for breaks, leave, or duty changes
• Administer first aid and assist injured guests or employees
• React professionally in emergencies and pressure situations
• Stay informed about events and venue changes
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Foster a friendly atmosphere for guests and staff
• Work additional hours or shifts as needed
• Circulate among guests and staff to preserve order and protect property
• Contact proper authorities when necessary
• Uphold law and order in conjunction with law enforcement
• Remain alert for suspicious activities
• Report hazards immediately
• Assist guests with inquiries about casino facilities and amenities
• Follow radio communication protocols
• Handle intoxicated or disorderly guests and alert management
• Escort employees as needed for cash control
• Communicate professionally with management
• Practice safety awareness and standards
• Direct emergency vehicles when needed
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications
