St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. is recruiting a vigilant Security Officer (Level II Patrol Officer) to safeguard client premises, personnel, and assets in Texas.

The role emphasizes strong observation, safety commitment, and effective emergency response. Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience is highly valued. The position involves patrolling assigned areas, monitoring CCTV and access control, and delivering excellent customer service while upholding security protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field desirable.
• Minimum 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid registration/permit/license required by the state in which the employee is employed.
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required by some clients.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports accurately and promptly for any security-related events.
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems to ensure continuous monitoring of premises.
• Manage access control by verifying identities and issuing passes to authorized personnel.
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for security operations or equipment setup.
• Enforce security regulations and policies while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist in performing background checks on visitors or contractors as required.
• Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations, utilizing AED operation when needed.
• De-escalate conflicts through conflict management techniques and conflict de-escalation skills.
• Conduct thorough patrolling of the property to identify potential hazards or safety issues.
• Perform emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols, AED use, and incident containment.
• Maintain clear communication with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents when appropriate.
