• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or prior military experience, or college education in the security field desirable.
• Minimum 1-3 years of professional-level work experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid registration/permit/license required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following established procedures.
• Write detailed incident reports accurately and promptly for any security-related events.
• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems to ensure continuous monitoring of premises.
• Manage access control by verifying identities and issuing passes to authorized personnel.
• Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for security operations.
• Enforce security regulations and policies while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Assist in performing background checks on visitors or contractors as required.
• Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations, utilizing AED operation when needed.
• De-escalate conflicts through conflict management techniques and conflict de-escalation skills.
• Conduct thorough patrolling of the property to identify potential hazards or safety issues.
• Perform emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols, AED use, and incident containment.
• Maintain clear communication with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents when appropriate.

• Demonstrated ability to handle conflict de-escalation and conflict management situations effectively
• Managing emergency response procedures will be considered a plus
