Role and Responsibilities

The Security Officer II performs security duties through professional interactions with the public, patients, employees, and administrators. Responsibilities include responding to calls, assisting in emergency and non-emergency situations, investigating safety hazards, incidents, and criminal activities, patrolling designated areas, and ensuring the safety of all individuals and property.

The role requires initiative, judgment, and competence in handling assignments and calls for service, with a focus on outstanding customer service and respectful relationships. Completion of physiological and physical fitness screenings is required.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification from the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Applicable state driver's license and clean driving record
