Rail City Casino seeks a security professional dedicated to guest safety and protection of people and property. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, patrolling property, and enforcing casino policies in compliance with laws and company procedures.
The role involves escorting guests and team members, investigating incidents, and remaining visible to deter disturbances. Candidates must meet licensing requirements and be able to work varied shifts in a dynamic casino environment.
Provide for the safety and protection of guests, employees, and company property. Anticipate potential problems and seek ways to prevent disruption, injuries, and prohibited conduct. Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate steps to resolve and
minimize company liability. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
Must be able to stand or walk for entire shift and possess the physical ability to access all areas of the property. Bend from the waist, crouch, stretch, kneel, climb, twist and crawl without restrictions. May work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to noise, dust, cigarette smoke, variations in weather. Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to push and/or pull 200 pounds. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many guests. When on casino floor, must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
