Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Identity Verification) in South Bend, IN. You will verify credentials, control access, and provide excellent customer service at a logistics and distribution site.

The role offers flexible DayTime shifts and opportunities to contribute to a safe, secure environment. Responsibilities include patrolling, incident response, record-keeping, and collaborating with site contacts.

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle records, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, trailer yards, loading areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
