Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Identity Verification in Frankfort, IN to protect clients across various industries. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service for employees, visitors, and vendors.

As a part-time role, you can build a flexible schedule on shifts such as DayTime and overnight, with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor/contractor entry, and maintain access logs.
• Control vehicle, delivery, and shipping/receiving access per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, professional communication.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control vehicle, delivery, and shipping/receiving access in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, shipping/receiving areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
