Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain logs.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas.
• Direct visitors and contractors regarding entry procedures and PPE requirements at food production sites.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs and documentation.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Support compliance with food production site requirements by directing visitors and contractors regarding entry procedures, restricted areas, and applicable personal protective equipment requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
