Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Reporting) in Philadelphia, PA. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, deter incidents, support access control, and provide courteous service to staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include documenting activity, responding to alarms, and communicating professionally while using reporting tools. A minimum of one year in security and a high school diploma are expected, with background checks and drug screening

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badge processes.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by employment laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, members, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
