Position Summary

This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals with no prior security experience, or those with some law enforcement or military background seeking additional training to adapt to the private security environment. Responsibilities may include standing post in less complex environments, escort duties, monitoring alarms and cameras, visitor sign-in, and assisting with badging and other security operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct periodic tours to secure areas.
2. Check for irregularities.
3. Preserve order at the facility.
4. Enforce regulations for personnel and visitors.
5. Protect staff and property from theft, damage, hazards, or interference, including potential workplace violence.
6. Control access to the client facility through the admittance process.
7. Maintain good public relations when interacting with visitors and staff.
8. Monitor entrances and exits.
9. Provide information about the facility and surrounding areas to visitors.
10. Prevent unauthorized or unlawful entry.
11. Prepare logs or reports as required for the post.
12. Observe and report incidents.
