Pay Range:

Job Summary:
Provides a safe and secure environment by offering security services for staff, patients, visitors, and premises. Acts as a first responder to urgent facility matters.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct interior and exterior rounds, monitor safety, security, theft, and parking lots.
- Ensure visitor and employee safety, assist with disruptive individuals, provide escorts, and handle patient restraints.
- Respond to requests for assistance, including escorting emergency personnel and providing post-mortem services.
- Deliver professional customer service, communicate hazards, and collaborate with clinical staff.
- Report security concerns, complete incident reports and logs.
- Maintain property safety, check safety equipment, alarms, AEDs, fire extinguishers, access control, and door integrity.
- Enforce organizational policies and procedures.
- Monitor and review incidents via video system.
- Operate motor vehicles for patrols if needed.
- Remain alert and work safely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
Experience & Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of a psychological assessment after conditional employment offer.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant hearing and vision use.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (0-50 lbs).
- Frequent standing, walking, twisting, and other movements.
- Occasional crawling, running, and lifting/moving patients.
Licenses and Certifications:
- State-specific licenses, including driver’s license, PERC, armed security license, or law enforcement certification, depending on location.
