Position Summary: Patrols casino premises and/or guards casino posts to maintain safety and security; prevent underage gambling and casino floor access, protect assets and ensure observance of applicable laws and casino regulations.

- Responds to all medical-related incidents on the property while providing outstanding guest service.
- Conducts escorts (money, personnel, and vendors).
- Responds to requests for assistance in cases of physical altercations, accidents, theft, or other disturbances.
- Reports suspicious or unusual activity to security leadership.
- Documents a complete and thorough investigation of incidents.
- Requests to see identification from all visitors who appear 30 years old or younger.
- Verifies patrons’ identifications to prevent those under the age of 21 from gaining access to the gaming floor.
- Maintains the highest level of vigilance at casino entrances.
- Handles situations with compassion and maintains confidentiality of security-related incidents.
- Resolves guest issues using all available resources.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security field preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to handle stressful situations dealing with the general public.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment.
- Knowledge in various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Ability to be a TEAM player.
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
