We are seeking dedicated Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of our patrons, staff, and property at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring the safety of customers, employees, and others on the premises.
2. Assisting customers and employees, and reporting critical situations such as medical emergencies and irate customers.
3. Patrolling casino premises, buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
4. Maintaining the integrity of gaming operations and transporting gaming chips.
5. Reporting violations and suspicious activities to management.
6. Inspecting doors, windows, gates, and equipment for security breaches.
7. Responding to alarms, emergencies, and conducting investigations as needed.
8. Maintaining confidentiality and a professional environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to obtain licensing with the West Virginia Lottery and Racing Commissions.
• CPR certification and ability to work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Minimum age of 21 years, with good observation skills and effective communication abilities.

Physical and Work Environment:

Must meet physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in various environmental conditions including outdoor weather, noise, and smoke.

This role does not have supervisory responsibilities and offers full-time employment with competitive benefits.
