Hotel Security Officer-FT
United Security Services, Inc., a national security company, is seeking a professional full-time overnight Security Officer for an upscale hotel in the Downtown Houston area.

Security Officer Position Requirements:

• At least 2 years of public safety or private security experience.
• Have excellent customer service skills and sound judgement.
• Schedule adherence and punctuality.
• Must be proficient with interacting, communicating and working jointly with a hotel staff.
• Must possess, or can acquire by time of employment, a Level II noncommissioned Texas Security Officer license.
• Must have the availability and flexible to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any work shift based on the operational needs of the hotel.
• Must be able to climb stairs, stand, walk for long periods of time

Security Officer- Preferred Skills:

• Knowledgeable in the key aspects of private security including, but not limited to: Handling hotel security tasks, responding to emergencies, preparing incident reports, reviewing CCTV footage, etc.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn security software applications.
• Possess a working knowledge of the hospitality industry and the related nomenclature.

The hourly wage for this position starts at $17.51

Shift: Overnight 2300-0730
