Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Cleveland, OH to protect patients, visitors, and staff in a hospital setting. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents with calm teamwork and clear communication.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience, are at least 18, and can meet hospital vaccination requirements. CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate healthcare personnel and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to site access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly according to site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while responding to security-related needs throughout the facility. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate healthcare personnel and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to site access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly according to site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
