Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Hospital to protect patients, visitors and staff in a healthcare setting. You'll monitor access points, perform patrols, and respond to incidents with professionalism to maintain a safe environment.

The role offers flexible DayTime schedules and an hourly pay rate of $16.00, with opportunities for additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform. Training and compliance with vaccination requirements are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check and drug screening may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and medical-related emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions and site access procedures.
• Document incidents and patrols in accordance with reporting requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, wayfinding, and compliance with site access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
