Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Reporting in Summerville, SC to protect healthcare facilities and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service. You will patrol the site, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible presence to deter security issues while upholding a caring, people-first culture.

This part-time role offers scheduling flexibility via our shift-claim platform and pays $20.00 per hour.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, staff, and facility operations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
