Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Operations in Bronx, NY. You will patrol healthcare facilities, deter incidents, assist with access control, and deliver excellent patient and staff service.

You will work full-time with a daytime schedule, uphold site procedures, and maintain reporting standards while ensuring safety and compliance within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required by policy.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others at a public healthcare location while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities and parking areas.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies using established protocols and notify appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Operations in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge procedures, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other individuals at a public healthcare location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access-control procedures, and the reporting of security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
