Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Cape Coral, FL. You will monitor hospital areas, deter incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional service.

This full-time role pays $19.00 per hour. You will conduct regular patrols, control access, document incidents, and respond to emergencies per site protocols, while upholding the company values of teamwork and integrity.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive hospital-required vaccines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Cape Coral, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional service and communication. You may respond to sensitive situations, including restricted areas and behavioral incidents, while collaborating with the healthcare team. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive hospital-required vaccines.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least two years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
