As a Security Officer Hospital Overnight Driver in Madison, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position supports a healthcare environment by responding to incidents, assisting with patient-related situations, and handling sensitive areas such as the morgue. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and adherence to site-specific access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
