As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to evolving needs with integrity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and reporting of unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals as required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
