Job Description

We are hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed to conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols in a hospital environment. Duties include controlling access, monitoring CCTV and alarms, writing reports, and deterring misconduct. Due to safety-sensitive nature, candidates must pass drug screening, and may require TB testing and vaccinations.

Position Details

• Full-time, $16.45/hour
• Must be at least 21 years old with an active Driver's License
• Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols and document observations
• Assist with de-escalation and restraining as necessary
• Transport patients and assist with evacuations
• Sound alarms and call authorities in emergencies
• Monitor entrances/exits and prevent unauthorized access
• Investigate incidents and maintain reports

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license (if driving)
• Two years of relevant employment history
• At least 18 years old
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to mediate conflicts tactfully

Preferred Qualifications

• Military or law enforcement experience
• Certified Public Safety Academy graduate or similar experience
• Bachelor’s or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice
• 8+ years military service
• Associate’s degree in related field
