Job Description

$21.63 Per Hour

Must Meet All Requirements

• High school diploma required
• CPR certification required
• Comfortable completing clinic exams and obtaining vaccinations
• Willing to work in a hospital setting

As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high-profile healthcare client. Responsibilities include surveillance, preventing suspicious activities, reporting incidents, and providing customer service in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Monitor for signs of crime, hazards, and unusual activity
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check safety conditions
• De-escalate situations verbally and physically as needed
• Inspect security devices and fire equipment
• Screen visitors and staff for entry
• Respond calmly to emergencies such as fire, medical issues, or hazardous situations
• May include patient escort and transport to morgue

Minimum Requirements

• Experience dealing with customers and stressful situations
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check and drug screening required
• Licensing as per state/local laws
• Valid driver’s license for driving roles
• Post-offer training and certification in Management of Aggressive Behavior
