Job summary

Allied Universal in Irvine, CA is seeking a Security Officer HOA Access Control to safeguard residents and guests in a residential community. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and maintain a welcoming, professional presence while deterring incidents through vigilance and timely reporting.

The role is full-time on-site with a fixed swing shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, five days a week, offering a rate of $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at community access points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with site management and/or emergency responders as required.

Minimum Requirements:
