Job summary

Hilton Anaheim is seeking a Security Officer to join our team. You’ll contribute to guest safety and hospitality while patrolling the property and supporting security operations.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Guard Card, be able to work 8-hour shifts, and be flexible for weekends/holidays. Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The Hilton Anaheim is seeking a Security Officer to join our team! You’ll play an essential part in supporting our property by contributing to Hilton’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest security, service, and hospitality.

Our property has 1,574 rooms, is newly renovated and located in the heart of California's famous Orange County, adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center and steps from the Disneyland Resort.

As a Security Officer , and facility safety – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• The ability to work a full shift (8 hours) walking and standing.

• The ability to bend, stoop, walk and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.

• Can work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

• Have a valid Guard Card

• Previous experience in Customer Service, Hospitality, or in the Security Department is a PLUS!

Classification: Full-Time

Shift Pattern: Must have open availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays. Shifts range from 7am-11pm.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Conduct security patrols: Monitor interior and exterior hotel premises to identify and address safety and security risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions

• Assist with investigations: Conduct preliminary incident investigations to gather relevant information, document findings, and ensure accurate reporting of security incidents

• Maintain accurate documentation: Prepare and ensure the accuracy of security reports and records

• Respond to emergencies: Assist in handling safety hazards, fires, medical incidents, and security threats

• Provide exceptional guest assistance: Respond to guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency
