• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check will be required by law.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to medical facility needs including restricted areas, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in patient care and public areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
