Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a GSOC Operator to monitor and safeguard clients across industries. You will use access control, alarm monitoring, and BI tools to detect incidents and coordinate rapid responses.

Responsibilities include incident response, alarm investigations, and assisting staff with safety concerns in a dynamic GSOC environment. Must have security experience and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ for armed roles and 18+ for unarmed roles.

• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Job Description

As a GSOC Operator, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator, under guidance of GSOC Supervisor, is responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a GSOC environment, monitoring several screens. The Operator will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open-source media, Internet, and in-house tools. The Operator is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents which may impact the client’s people, products, property, or brand image. These may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failures.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

• Age Requirement:Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal regulations and to maintain a safe working environment.

• Security Experience:Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience (C115). This experience should be relevant to the position being applied for and may include roles in security management, law enforcement, or related fields.

• Supervisory Experience:Candidates must have prior supervisory experience (C136). This experience should demonstrate the candidate's ability to lead, manage, and develop a team effectively.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital communication tools effectively.

• CPR Certification (B205)Candidates are required to hold a valid CPR certification. This certification must be current and recognized by a reputable organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Investigate alarms and respond by sending security patrol, or alerting Fire services or Police as needed
• Assist company employees in all concerns that pertain to safety and security
• Monitor travel safety and security of company’s employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five (5) years of verifiable experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experience
