Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Gate Visitor Registration in Riviera Beach, FL to manage entry access, verify credentials, and monitor activity at a residential community. You will deliver excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors while maintaining a secure environment.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Shift schedule includes night and weekend hours, and candidates must meet basic licensing and background requirements.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access concerns, resident requests, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
