Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking motivated individuals for loss prevention roles in Superior, Wisconsin. The job focuses on checking products in a lumber yard, ensuring drivers have purchased items match their vehicles, and maintaining secure premises.

Shifts include Sun 7:45am–2pm, Mon–Wed 5:30am–2pm, and Sat 5:45am–2pm, with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour. Company benefits include health insurance, uniforms, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report any facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations.

Responsibilities

More of a loss prevention job than a security job. We check vehicles in and give directions as to where their product is in the lumber yard. When they come to exit, we check to make sure that the product that they purchased is in fact the product that they have in their vehicle or trailer.

Loss Prevention | Checking orders and counting purchased product Computers | Hand held computers used, must have good understanding of computers Product Knowledge | Generally, good knowledge of the building industry and construction is required. Walking | Can be very busy in the summer months, a lot of walking required on Concrete is required. Communication | A lot of interaction with the public, must be able to communicate well.
