Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Professional Security Officer for a Full Time role in Lake Oswego, OR. The position offers a wage of $22.75 per hour and a Sunday-Thursday 8am-4pm schedule.

You will contribute to community safety, receive elite training, and grow within a dedicated regional team. Responsibilities include access control, monitoring alarms, incident reporting, and patrolling client sites in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.
• Great attention to detail and ability to stay alert on shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with sound judgement and appropriate escalation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside client premises in various weather/terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to achieve site goals.
• Carry out duties as required for the assigned site.
