Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Professional Security Officer for a full-time role in Lake Oswego, Oregon.

The position offers wage of $22.75 per hour and a Sunday-Thursday 8am-4pm schedule, with opportunities for growth through elite training and regional management support. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, a high school diploma or GED, CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and the ability to remain calm and professional in diverse situations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required (provided).
• Customer service background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
