Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY is seeking a Security Officer for full-time weekend night shifts to ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors. Under the supervision of the Security Coordinator, you will respond to emergencies, handle secure transport of items to Hospice House, Long Term Care, and banks, and maintain incident records.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and preferred three years of security experience; valid driver's license and clean driving

Under the supervision of the Security Coordinator, is responsible for the safety and security of the hospital properties, employees, and visitors; responds to emergency situations; pickup and delivery of food items, pharmacy items, bank bags, and other materials to and from various sites including Hospice House, Long Term Care, and banks; maintain records and reports of unusual events or happenings. Contribute to the efficient operations of the department.

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Three years minimum on the job security or relatable experience preferred.
