Full Time Security Guard

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a Full Time Security Guard.

Position: Security Officer (Full-time/Overnights, Evenings, Weekends)

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer performs routine to skilled functions related to physical security and safety of staff, visitors, patients, and hospital grounds. This position requires supporting daily operations and assisting the Hospitality Services Department.

Required Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the facility for security and operational issues, maintain records, and identify malfunctions.
  • Maintain a detailed security log during shifts and document incidents accurately.
  • Respond to alarms, notify personnel, and document communications.
  • Complete rounds and rounding forms.
  • Participate in security training and educational sessions.
  • Document reports as required by hospital policies, including quality and infection control standards.
  • Escort visitors and staff as needed.
  • Prepare shift reports for the next officer.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through meetings and training.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all hospital personnel and visitors.
  • Work weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours as required, including overtime and emergency callbacks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
