Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to support a warehouse distribution site in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role entails unarmed patrols, customer service to clients and visitors, and monitoring access points to deter incidents.

You will work a full‑time schedule with shifts that include afternoons/evenings. A minimum of 2 years in security is preferred, along with a high school diploma and valid licenses where required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for personnel and delivery drivers, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations through required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
