Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Walking Patrol in Asheville, NC. You will monitor and patrol, deter incidents, and provide welcoming service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations required by law.
• Allied Universal will conduct a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site procedures and safety rules.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas and perimeter.
• Monitor entry/exit activity and verify visitor/contractor access per site procedures; keep logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate when needed.
• Help deter unauthorized access, theft, and security concerns with a visible presence and timely reporting.

As a Security Officer Full Time Walking Patrol in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security‑related concerns through a visible presence and timely reporting to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
