Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by employer.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support a controlled environment.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents, observations, and policy violations.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Verification in Brook Park, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage badge access, monitor entry points, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Using computer or tablet-based systems, you will document activity, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
