As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Services in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help maintain an orderly environment, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to inquiries with integrity and care. Pay Rate: $14.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery personnel, and employees at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Receive and route calls, deliveries, and inquiries in a professional manner while maintaining awareness of front-desk activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document and report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
