Job summary

Allied Universal in Oklahoma City hires a Security Officer for full-time visitor registration at a healthcare location. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff, verify access, and maintain a welcoming, safe environment according to site procedures.

This role includes monitoring the lobby, responding to incidents, coordinating with hospital personnel, and supporting emergency procedures. Weekly pay and a $17.50 hourly rate are provided, with CLEET assistance available to support career

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to greet patients, visitors and staff professionally and calmly.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a healthcare location, greeting patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific procedures.
• Verify visitor access in accordance with facility policies, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Monitor entry activity, receive and direct incoming calls, and provide clear information or directions to patients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders in accordance with established protocols.
• Support security-related procedures by observing the front entrance area, reporting unusual activity, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
