As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Driver in Vancouver, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, providing directions and assistance while helping maintain orderly access to municipal locations.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel when required.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
