Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time unarmed Security Officer for an industrial site in Louisville, KY. You will perform regular patrols, maintain presence to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

You will report observations, respond to alarms, manage access with site procedures, and document activities to ensure safety and security across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial facility buildings, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and security-related observations accurately and promptly, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
