Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies; respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, vehicle entrances, trailer yards, interiors, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, driver, and contractor credentials per site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents, communicate with site contacts and leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Rounds in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to site needs, and deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, package-handling disruptions, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, vehicle entrances, trailer yards, building interiors, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and check visitor, driver, and contractor credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
