Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a full-time roving assignment in Kansas City, MO. You will deter incidents, patrol sites, and maintain a visible presence while providing professional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at an industrial location.

The position requires 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma or equivalent, a background check, drug screen, and valid driver's license where applicable.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an industrial construction location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of construction work areas, buildings, parking areas, perimeter boundaries, and access points to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site policies, maintaining required logs and documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Report hazards, property damage, unauthorized activity, and other security-related concerns through established reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
