Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted operational areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
