• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas and perimeter locations; report maintenance concerns and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with municipal personnel, law enforcement and the public during operations and emergencies.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Patrol in Anchorage, AK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and applicable emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with municipal personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public during routine operations and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
