Allied Universal in Plain City, OH, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Zone Inspection. You will patrol a logistics and distribution site, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service while upholding Allied Universal values.

The role is full time with a fixed morning shift from 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at $17.98 per hour. This position requires a background check, a drug screen, and adherence to licensing rules where applicable.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Zone Inspection in Plain City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building entrances, trailer and vehicle staging areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help verify that visitors, drivers, and contractors follow site entry, exit, and credential requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
