Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor facility access, verify visitor/driver authorization, and maintain entry/exit documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, solution-focused manner and notify appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate patrol and incident reports as required.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Threat Prevention in Etna, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and driver authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain required entry and exit documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol findings, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
