Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed patrol position in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor and safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other settings, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff.

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will follow site procedures, report incidents clearly, and support a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Reporting in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report access-control concerns to site management.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
